Sydney Venue in North Sydney could be perfect for your celebration

Our party venue is ideally laid out and stylishly decorated for day or evening events.  It features a large central area, a separate area for quieter socialising plus an outdoor terrace and full kitchen and bathroom facilities.

We are suitable for a sit down meal for up to 40 or parties (with cocktail food) for up to 80 people. We are BYO which makes your party more affordable. We offer catering or you can self cater.  

 

Rates:

Weekend daytime (10.30am - 4.30pm) is $475

Friday night or Saturday night (6pm to midnight) is $650 plus a refundable bond of $1,000

We are ideal for the following:

Sorry, but we do not cater for weddings

or parties where the average age of guests is under 25 years.

 

Price Includes:

>> Full use of common area of premises (2 large rooms plus outdoor area) including fridges, kitchen amenities, glassware (for up to 40 people), crockery, platters and use of our commercial dishwasher.

Food and Beverage Catering

>> You can use an outside caterer, self cater or use our catering service, see link here

>> We are BYO so all alcoholic beverages must be brought in and removed from the venue.  You can have alcohol delivered directly to the venue in the days prior to your function.  There is fridge space for parties up to 40 people, for larger parties we recommend ice buckets. 

>> We have details for an excellent wine merchant who will deliver, set up and remove your alcohol and refund you for any that wasn't used.

Music:

>> We have an entertainment system, which can be used with an i pod, though this is not recommended for a night of dancing as the speakers can distort at high volumes.  We have details for a DJ if required.

Decorations:

>> We do allow decorations in the venue, though decorating should be done within our prescribed timing requirements, and removed after use.  We have details for an excellent balloon / party shop.

Conditions (Please read):

>> We do not allow hire to parties where the average age of guests is under 25 years.  We are not suitable for weddings.

>> Heavy cleaning (vacuuming, mopping etc) is included in the price but it is a condition of use that Sydney Venue must be tidied at the end of the function by you or your caterers and the place left as it is found.  Specifically all food and party rubbish needs to be cleared, any crockery used washed up and put away and rubbish bagged and put in bins.

>> Clients are liable for any damage caused to all fixtures, furniture, crockery, glassware etc.  We reserve the right to retain funds from the client's bond for all breakages and damage

>> Council timing and noise restrictions apply and must be adhered to.  Music must be turned off at midnight.

>> Only invited guests should be admitted to Sydney Venue.  Any party expecting over 50 persons must provide a door person to monitor the reception area throughout the party.  This is for your own protection against uninvited people as we are located on a main street.

>> For evening events, entry to the premises is from 5pm on Saturday night or 6.30pm on Friday night.
