Information collected from clients

Sydney Venue collects or may collect the following kinds of information about clients:

  • ‘contact information’. This must include an email address where we can contact the client. It may also include a client's name, job title, phone numbers or address details.
  • ‘database information’. This includes a history of bookings, what prices the client has paid and whether they have been the recipient of any promotional offers.
  • Written communications (by email or other enquiries which pass through the Social Life systems) may be stored.
  • Other information provided voluntarily by clients. This could be in response to questions and may include testimonials, complaints and general feedback.
  • Non-personally identifiable information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited etc. None of this information identifies a specific employee of a client
Use of client's information
  • Contact information is used solely to communicate with clients. This may include providing information about special offers and activities, responding to any questions or requests, confirming receipt of communications or contacts regarding clarification of needs or changes
  • Credit card information is shredded immediately after transaction confirmation is received and is not stored on Social Life servers at any time.
  • Testimonials may be posted on our website and included in emails to clients to help promote our services.
Updating, storage and security of client information held by Sydney Venue
  • All information is stored on the Sydney Venue systems. Safeguards including physical, technical and procedural methods are used to protect this data.
  • You can update your contact information at any time by calling 02-9492 8333
  • Testimonials, complaints and other feedback are stored indefinitely.
Sharing of personal information
  • Sydney Venue does not rent, sell, or share about clients with any third party without their explicit consent, except to business partners as required to deliver services or where required by law.
